      Versatile operating modes

In addition to direct mode (DMO) and trunked radio mode (TMO), the PT580H Plus supports operation as ETSI type 1A DMO repeater. If the radio is operated in this new operating mode, the range of application of connected TETRA users increases tremendously.

      Excellent audio quality

The PT580H Plus contains an audio chip with optimized noise suppression. Users who need clear communication in noisy environments profit from optimized audio quality and the related enhanced comprehensibility.

      Patented antenna

The integrated radio and GPS antenna provides high comfort and even better features. The two knobs on the PT580H Plus are separated by the antenna to prevent operating errors, even when wearing gloves or in poor light conditions.

      Dustproof and waterproof

The radio is protected against dust and water in accordance with degree of protection IP68. In addition, it meets the requirements of MIL?-?STD?- 810 C / D / E / F / G standard and passed the HALTs (Highly Accelerated Life Test). Thus, excellent features are offered even under harsh operating conditions.

      Versatile services

Apart from voice and data communication, additional functions can be added: GPS, encryption, strong pre-recorded channel announcements etc. Moreover, the handheld radio includes a connection for example for audio and data accessories.

      Immediate and direct communication

PT580H Plus provides rapid access to the TETRA radio network and to its services. It was developed according to the regulations of the ETSI TETRA standard and is therefore compatible with infrastructures and terminals from various manufacturers.

      Extensive accessories

Besides the standard accessories, extensive additional accessories are available as an option. This includes numerous audio accessories, such as noise protection headsets or wireless headsets.
