New DMR Software Introduces Numerous New Features
Hyteras DMR portfolio grows with each new software release, drives Hytera forward and and prove its innovation and customer focus. With the new software version for its DMR radios and DMR repeaters, Hytera shows that its massive investments in research and development are paying off.
With the new software for its complete DMR portfolio, Hytera offers several update highlights for two-way radios as well as repeaters and DMR system technology. More than 20 new and optimized features provide new usage possibilities, easier handling, more efficiency and more effectiveness.
Update highlights of the new software
The new software release bundles many big and small innovations and improvements. Here are some highlights:
- Optimized energy saving
- New GPS protocol for more situational awareness
- Voice buffer: If the call is started too fast, no shreds of calls are lost after pressing the PTT button.
- Simple selection of the operating mode: Now the operating mode of DMR radios can simply be selected with the channel selection knob. Switching between DMR trunked radio, Hytera XPT and conventional DMR radio is thus possible without restarting the device!
- More networking options: Conventional DMR Tier II repeaters can now also be networked with Hytera XPT base stations.
Free software updates - safe investment
Hytera distributes its software updates free of charge to its direct customers and partners. These new features will also be distributed to our contract and reseller partners as usual. End users who are not direct customers of Hytera or Hytera Mobilfunk can contact our reselling partners at any time to receive the new software for their Hytera DMR devices.
