TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA)
The TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA) was founded under the name of TETRA MoU Association Ltd in 1994 to provide a common forum for TETRA users, manufacturers, integrators and other interested user groups for exchanging information about and promoting the TETRA technology. The TCCA also took care of certifying TETRA products to ensure the interoperability of TETRA systems and terminals of different manufacturers.

DMR Association (Digital Mobile Radio Association)
The DMR Association aims at developing the DMR standard into a leading digital radio standard. The organization was founded as the DMR MoU Association in 2005 to support the ETSI in achieving standardisation of DMR.

Bundesverband Professioneller Mobilfunk e. V. (PMeV) (Federal Association of Professional Mobile Radio)
Manufacturers and users of professional mobile radio systems have teamed up under the umbrella of the PMeV. The PMeV encourages the advancement of professional mobile radio (PMR) in Germany. Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH is a foundation member of the PMeV and actively involved in the tasks of the association.
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
The ETSI Institute organizes uniform telecommunication standards across Europe. Founded in 1988, ETSI has over 700 members from over 60 countries. The TETRA Standard and the DMR Standard, which are both used around the world, are among the standards established by ETSI.
